Many horror films feature an isolated cabin in the woods as a setting for frightening encounters with the dangerous creatures that lurk in secluded areas. 


With terrifying thoughts of cabin horror movies running amok in the subconscious, in the encroaching darkness far from a strong cell signal, unfamiliar sounds … small animals scurrying over leaves, branches swaying in the wind, sudden unnatural silence becomes a potential predator.

Cabin In The Woods Film Festival is a horror film festival that showcases and celebrates international, ethnic, and gender diversity in all horror genres created by independent filmmakers, small studios, and students from all across the globe.

The goal of removing the financial stress of festival attendees needing to pay for every indulgence, coupled with small private-like settings is to allow attendees to enjoy the films with limited distractions.

 

It is the mission of Cabin In The Woods Film Festival to create a unique, immersive, all-inclusive enhanced horror film festival experience that does not require a lot of cost or planning whether attending in person or virtually.
